Who can enter

Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older. Employees and contractors of Crate Clothing, and members of their immediate families, are not eligible.

How to enter

Entry is free and no purchase is required. To enter using the official giveaway form, submit a valid email address during the Promotion Period and tick the required checkbox consenting to receive marketing emails from Crate Clothing. The current entry form cannot be submitted without this affirmative consent.

Existing Crate email subscribers can enter using the same email address as their existing account. Existing subscription alone does not count as entry: they must submit the giveaway entry form and confirm the required marketing-consent checkbox.

One entry per person. Multiple submissions or email addresses by the same person do not increase their chance of winning. Entries must be completed by the entrant; automated, fraudulent or misleading entries may be disqualified.

Promotion period

Entries open on Monday 2 November 2026, when the official giveaway form is activated, and close at 11:45 pm NZDT on Thursday 3 December 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.

The prize

There is one prize: NZ$500 in Crate Clothing store credit to spend at Crate Clothing, subject to the final redemption conditions. This is $500 worth of credit, not a $500 cash payment. The prize is not redeemable for cash, cannot be exchanged for another prize, and is not transferable without Crate's written agreement.

The method of providing and redeeming the store credit, any expiry or validity period, eligible products, exclusions, use of any remaining balance and redemption conditions must be clearly confirmed before the Promotion is published and will remain subject to applicable New Zealand law.

Winner selection and notification

After entries close at 11:45 pm NZDT on Thursday 3 December 2026, Crate Clothing will conduct a random draw to select one eligible winner from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. The draw will not take place before entries close.

The winner will be contacted using the email address submitted within three working days of the draw. The selected winner must respond within seven calendar days of notification to claim the prize. Crate may make reasonable attempts to contact the winner and may conduct a redraw if the prize is not claimed in time or the entry is found to be ineligible.

Personal information and marketing

Crate Clothing collects the email address supplied with an entry to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, select and notify the winner, and deliver the prize.

Marketing subscription is part of the current online entry process. The giveaway form requires entrants to actively tick a checkbox consenting to receive marketing emails from Crate Clothing, including news, offers, collabs and Black Friday updates. This consent is separate from agreeing to the competition terms and is not assumed merely because a person visits the site.

Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in a Crate email. Unsubscribing after submitting an otherwise valid entry does not remove that entry from the prize draw. Crate will continue to use contact details only as reasonably necessary to administer the Promotion and contact a selected winner, even if the entrant unsubscribes from marketing.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Crate Clothing's Privacy Policy, available on the Crate Clothing website.

Suspected misuse and errors

Crate may verify entries and disqualify any entry reasonably believed to be fraudulent, automated, duplicated, incomplete or submitted in breach of these terms. Decisions will be made fairly, consistently and subject to applicable law.

Suspension, cancellation or amendment

To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Crate Clothing reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or cancel the Promotion if fraud, technical failure, events beyond its reasonable control, or other circumstances make it impossible or impracticable to operate the Promotion lawfully or fairly. If this occurs, Crate will act reasonably and in good faith, notify entrants where reasonably practicable, and take reasonable steps to protect valid entries and provide an appropriate, lawful outcome.

Crate may clarify or amend the terms before the Promotion opens. After the Promotion has commenced, Crate will not arbitrarily change its substantive entry conditions, the prize or the winner-selection process. Any change required by law will be communicated as promptly as reasonably practicable. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.

General

By entering, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions. The Promotion is governed by New Zealand law. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent lawful.
